On April 14, 2026, Resolution No. 37/2026 issued by the Financial Information Unit (FIU) was published in the Official Gazette.

This resolution introduces amendments to FIU Resolution No. 50/2011, with the purpose of updating the registration procedures applicable to Reporting Entities and the management of information within the system.

Overall, these amendments constitute operational adjustments and do not materially alter existing regulatory obligations.

? Key updates:

? Streamlined registration process: Supporting documentation must now be submitted at the time of initiating the registration through the SRO+ system (previously, such documentation could be submitted within fifteen (15) business days following the online filing).

? Shortened deadline for updating registry information (registered address, telephone number, and email): reduced from sixty (60) calendar days to five (5) business days from the occurrence of the relevant change to be reported to the FIU.

? Express incorporation into FIU Resolution No. 50/2011 of the thirty (30) calendar-day deadline to report changes in beneficial ownership, an obligation already established under specific regulations.

? Future flexibility of the registration channel: the FIU expressly reserves the authority to modify, at its discretion, the current registration channel (SRO+ system).

? Clarification of supervisory authority: the FIU?s existing authority to require the updating of supporting documentation from already registered entities is expressly reaffirmed.

? What actions should Reporting Entities take?

Reporting Entities should primarily take note of the new deadlines and procedural requirements applicable to future registrations before the FIU, as well as to the updating of information and documentation previously submitted in connection with existing registrations.
