Following the conclusions of the June 2026 FATF Plenary, the list of jurisdictions under Increased Monitoring (Grey List) has once again been updated, reinforcing the dynamic nature of the global AML/CFT/CPF landscape.

This Plenary resulted in two new jurisdictions being added to the Grey List:

? Bosnia and Herzegovina

? Iraq

At the same time, FATF acknowledged the successful implementation of Action Plans by:

? Algeria

? Namibia

Both jurisdictions have therefore been removed from Increased Monitoring following successful on-site verification missions.

As a consequence, the overall number of Grey Listed jurisdictions remains essentially stable, while their composition continues to evolve in response to countries' progress?or lack thereof?in strengthening their AML/CFT/CPF frameworks.

These developments once again demonstrate that FATF monitoring is not a permanent designation, but rather a dynamic supervisory mechanism rewarding effective implementation of reforms while identifying jurisdictions requiring additional improvements.

At CASSAGNE Consultores, we continuously monitor FATF developments and assist organizations in translating international regulatory changes into practical compliance strategies tailored to their businesses.
