At CASSAGNE Consultores, we are committed to keeping our clients informed of the latest developments in Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF), and Counter-Proliferation Financing (CPF).

On August 3, 2026, INAES Res. No. 1567/26 was published in Argentina's Official Gazette. The Resolution approves a new AML/CTF/CPF Compliance System designed to streamline, modernize, and centralize the reporting framework applicable to cooperatives and mutual associations subject to UIF Resolution No. 99/23.

? What does this new Resolution establish?

?? Approves a new AML/CTF/CPF Compliance System, centralizing all information and supporting documentation required by INAES.

?? Consolidates multiple reporting regimes into a single digital platform, eliminating duplicate filings and significantly reducing administrative burdens.

?? Requires Reporting Entities to file sworn statements containing, among other information: a.) Registration as a Reporting Entity before the FIU; b.) Appointment of the Compliance Officers; c.) Approved AML/CTF/CPF Manual; d.) Annual aggregate amount of loans granted; e.) Identification of directors, legal representatives, managers, and attorneys-in-fact; f.) Information regarding the twenty principal members (cooperatives only).

?? Requires members of the governing and supervisory bodies to electronically file their Politically Exposed Person (PEP) Declarations.

?? Requires annual updates, as well as immediate updates whenever any material change occurs.

?? Repeals INAES Res. 5588/12 and 1863/19, replacing the previous reporting framework with a single, fully digital compliance system.

? When does it become effective?

? Thirty (30) calendar days after its publication in the Official Gazette.

? Initial filings must be submitted within 90 days following the Resolution's effective date.

? Main Objective?

? Align the INAES supervisory framework with FIU Res. 99/23.

? Further strengthen the implementation of the Risk-Based Approach.

? Consolidate AML/CTF/CPF information within a single integrated digital platform.

? Reduce administrative burdens through automation and data migration.

? Strengthen the supervision of cooperatives and mutual associations in accordance with international standards and the recommendations arising from FATF's latest Mutual Evaluation of Argentina.
