At CASSAGNE Consultores, we keep our clients and followers informed about regulatory changes that directly impact their Anti-Money Laundering (PLA), Terrorist Financing (FT) and Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction (FP) compliance policies. ???
? The new Resolution 9/2025 of the National Council for Employment, Productivity and the Minimum, Living and Mobile Wage (SMVM), published today in the Official Gazette (O.G. 12/03/2025), set new SMVM values for the months of November and December 2025, as well as for the first months of 2026.
?? For the proper implementation of AML/CFT policies by reporting entities (Sujetos Obligados), the relevant value is the SMVM in force for December 2025, which must be taken into account by them throughout the January?June 2026 semester.
? December 2025 SMVM (applicable to the January?June 2026 semester): ARS 334,800 (Art. 1(b), Resolution 9/2025).

? What should Reporting Entities do?
? Update internal values in AML/CFT/FP policies and procedures that depend on the SMVM, especially automatic thresholds or income-based scales.
? Review risk matrices, segmentations and due diligence parameters to ensure they properly reflect the new value.
? Ensure documentary traceability in view of potential UIF inquiries regarding the correct application of regulatory thresholds.
? In a dynamic regulatory environment, having specialized advice makes all the difference.
At CASSAGNE Consultores, we support Reporting Entities in applying these changes immediately, correctly and in a fully documented manner, minimizing regulatory and operational risks.
